Supporting Our school leavers after they have left us
At Community-Ed Academy we know that we build strong working relationships with our students. This supports us to keep them engaged in learning, manage stresses and anxieties and feel safe in school.
An example of this strong working relationship is Grace. Grace left us in July 2025 and went on to East Coast College to start her level 2 in Art. She was nervous, but with lots of support from trusted adults in school, Grace started her course. She has kept in touch with us at school and invited us to view her first Art Exhibition. We were delighted to attended and several staff members took the time to visit.
We were so pleased and proud of Grace, to see that she has flourished at college. We got to meet her tutors and see the amazing work she is doing at college. Grace proudly showed us around her different learning spaces, and we got to see the impressive amounts of work she has already completed. We look forward to hearing more on Grace’s journey, as she has now spoken about completing her Level 3 and a possible degree.
Grace’s confidence is clear to see, and we could not be happier. She has pushed herself and now she is reaping the rewards of that. Grace is starting to see that in life, you get out what you put in.
At Community-Ed, we value every one of our students and are proud to remain a part of their learning journey for as long as they wish us to be.
